The FoCo Roller Derby Fresh Hops training program is the result of over 10 years of diverse and tested methods to teach beginners and mid-level skaters how to play the greatest sport on earth!
We prepare skaters by providing the conditioning, physical skills, rules knowledge & mental strategy necessary to safely play the sport of flat-track roller derby for FCRD teams. After graduating from Fresh Hops, skaters are drafted to become the newest FoCo Roller Derby Home Team members!
The Fresh Hops training program is offered several times per year (see schedule below) and is open to all gender identities* ages 18+ interested in learning to play roller derby on a recreational or nationally-competitive level.
If you are interested in joining this class of Fresh Hops, contact the New Recruit team to reserve your spot.
